They have designed this version to have a magazine well that resembles the original Type 89 magazine well as much as possible but to take M4 magazines, which are very common and most players have several at home. The replica is powered by a v3 mechabox and thus is simple to upgrade and possibly replace internal parts. The motor is the rather well known EG01000BT which the company puts in more premium replicas, in addition the gun has a three-shot burst. During the Vietnam War, the United States Armed Forces replaced the M14 rifles with the new M16 types for several reasons, one of the most important being the ability to have a higher cadence, lower weight, and lower recoil when using the 5.56x45 NATO caliber cartridge than the 7.62x51 NATO caliber cartridge previously used.
