Läs mer"Extrema Ratio Sethlans" is a fixed blade work knife designed to face a wide range of situations, suitable for survival, bushcraft, prepping, and also as a backup blade. The Sethlans was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, a Master Advanced instructor. The Sethlans is available in two versions with two different types of steel: a Stone Washed version using böhler N690 steel heat-treated at 58 HRC, chosen for its demonstrated reliability over the last 20 years due to its resistance to oxidation and durability of the blade edge, and a Black version that uses D2 steel, heat, and cryogenically treated at 60 HRC, which has high resharpening capacity even with makeshift tools. To provide greater hardness and resistance, the blade is coated with the new Teflon-based product "EXP DARK," proposed by Extrema Ratio. The knife comes with G10 scales that feature the ergonomic design characteristic of Extrema Ratio handles. They can be removed by freeing the skeletonized structure of the knife, allowing maximum lightness with minimum thickness. For lovers of extreme customization, the full-tang structure allows the handle to be covered with paracord. The sheat is composed of a very light and minimalist Kydex part, which can be disassembled and adapted to both left and right-handed users. The addition of an optional belt clip allows both vertical and horizontal positioning of the knife, making the sheath much more versatile than the textile version. It is equipped with a mini pouch with MOLLE system containing a double-sided sharpening stone and a Firesteel for lighting fires.
Läs merThe Extrema Ratio S-THIL Stone Washed is a backup tactical knife of monolithic construction milled out of a 5 mm (0.2”) bar of BOHLER N690 steel, developed in cooperation with designer Thilo Arnd Schiller. The spear point blade is heat treated to 58 HRC for best combination of edge retention and toughness. It has a false double edge to make it very effective in thrusting and piercing and has a full length fuller that flows elegantly from the blade into the handle. The blade is milled integral to the knife for better compactness and lightness, with minimum thickness yet with a pattern that reminds of the classical Extrema Ratio knife grip. This profile creates two small guards and a comfortable thumb rest to prevent the hand from slipping towards the blade. On the pommel there is a diamond shaped skull crusher and a slot for a wrist strap or for giving the knife a paracord grip wrap. The stamped nylon sheath has been designed to be extremely flat and very narrow, to keep it as compact as possible. Knife design makes the sheath ambidextrous and allows to insert the knife with the edge on the left or the right. The integral twin retention system is composed of four pressure elements that work one pair at a time, according to the direction the knife is inserted, while the textile nylon part has a button and a strap to secure the knife to the sheath. The tip of the sheath has a hole to allow debris or liquids to be expelled simply by blowing into it. The sheath can be used with belt clip, ULTICLIP or malice clip making it extremely versatile, while it is also possible to attach it to a M.O.L.L.E. webbing just by weaving paracord through it.
Läs merKiridashi is a type of Japanese knife, a cutting multipurpose tool. One of its peculiarities is the asymmetric bevel: only one of the two sides is grind while the other remains flat. Extrema Ratio has reinterpreted this traditional Japanese knife according to its style, giving it a more tactical look than the original. KIRI features a particular tip designed to obtain a high penetration efficiency while maintaining its characteristic chisel grind. Extrema Ratio KIRI is available in Dark Stone and Satin finish, both in Böhler N690 steel hardened to 58 HRC. The handle is made of two black anodized anticorodal aluminum scales. The pre-shaped Kydex sheath is equipped with metal eyelets for inserting a paracord, which also allow it to be attached to a M.O.L.L.E. system webbing. KIRI can be accessorised with the following options (sold separately): BELT CLIP that allows you to attach the sheath to a belt. ULTICLIP SLIM 3.3 (we recommend at least two) that allows you to attach the sheath not only to a belt but also to pockets, trousers, jackets, shirts and t-shirts.
Läs merSHRAPNEL OG is a truly versatile "back-up", with strong combat attitudes. Läs merMade to order for the renowned 9th Parachute Assault Regiment “Col Moschin” of the Italian special forces, which officially adopted it in 2002, this is a quintessential combat knife. It represents a contemporary reworking of daggers issued to the Arditi – the historical force in whose footsteps the 9th walks – which sported asymmetrical blades and straight but direction-sensitive hilts. Designed to be light and handy, balanced decidedly toward the hilt, with a highly perforating blade-tip. Each new “Incursore” (assault paratrooper) is issued one of these knives and trained to use it to its best.

Läs merThe Turn Box family is a very stable and compact knife sharpening system. It works well in the kitchen and it quickly breaks down for storage in a drawer. The turn box family of knife sharpeners is also great for outdoorsmen on the go because it is lightweight and stores easily into a backpack. It only takes a few swipes to maintain an edge (a bit more if you have a really dull knife). There are two pre-set knife sharpening angles in the wood block 20 degree & 25 degree 25° - This is used for most kitchen knives and provides a sharp, durable edge. 20° - This is used for those desiring a very sharp edge. Some examples would be for filet knives or cutting tomatoes. Lower degrees result in sharper knives, but require more regular maintenance. This 2-Stage Knife Sharpening System features a hardwood turnbox with internal rod storage in the base, two 5" long medium diamond rods, and two 5" long fine ceramic rods. Diamond/Ceramic 4 Rod Turn Box Instructions Lansky Turn Box Sharpeners can be used for either 1-stage or 2-stage sharpening. The silver Diamond Rods are for sharpening, and the white Ceramic Rods are for polishing. Set Up Always begin by placing the turn box on a stable and flat surface at a comfortable working height. 1 Stage Sharpening Choose the type of rods and the angle that you wish to sharpen with (20° or 25°) by placing the sharpening rods in the appropriate guide holes. Hold the base firmly with your non-dominate hand. Make sure your fingers are as far away from the rods as possible while maintaining a firm, controllable grip on the base. With the knife in your dominate hand, place the heel of the blade (closest to the handle) an inch or more below the top of one of the rods. Holding the blade straight up and down (perpendicular to the work surface), draw the blade down the rod and towards you, moving towards the tip of the knife. The motion is similar to slicing bread. Repeat this action on the other rod for the other side of the edge. Continue alternation from rod to rod until you have achieved the desired sharpness. 2 Stage Sharpening Begin by placing the rods in the 20º angle holes and follow the sharpening instructions as listed in the 1-stage sharpening above, but do not polish/finish the edge, use only 10-12 strokes on each rod. This is to thin the blade’s edge. After thinning the blade’s edge, move the rods to the 25° angle holes for the 2nd stage sharpening to finish the edge. Simply follow the same technique used before. This will produce a durable and sharp compound bevel. Pro Tip**- For the best results, avoid rolling the tip of your knife off the rod. This can damage the tip and leave it dulerl than the rest of the blade. Patience and a slow hand are recommended. Be Smart, Be Safe and Stay an Edge Above the Rest!

Läs merExtrema Ratio developed the first knife of a new production line, called CONTACT. It has a blade with a lance-shaped profile, a flat grinding and a diamond-shaped geometry. It has got a lower guard branch to protect the hand from accidental cuts, upper jumping to improve grip, a concave fuller along the entire length of the blade and a generous thickness blade (6.30mm) All these details make the Contact the elder brother of the now famous Requiem, revisited in proportions and in some technical features. The first of a new line of multipurpose knives. The blade is made in Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and a chemical burnishing coating for the Black version. All other colours in production have got a blade with Stone Washed finishing. The handle is still in forprene . It is no more assembled by the side screws but thanks to the shank in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel that is screwed to the bottom and goes to fit inside a special seat, which makes it solid. In this way the knife is well balanced. The sheath is minimalist: most of the fabric has been cut off: it has got a 2nd level retention system, remembering the style of the model it was inspired by. The main shell is injection-molded in shockproof nylon. The secondary retention system is reversible for ambidextrous users. The blade is guided into the sheath thanks to its cone shape that lends itself well to the rapid insertion and extraction of the blade. To extract the blade, a pressure on the trigger will be sufficient, thus releasing the safety that holds it securely in the sheath. In the horizontal slits of the sheath a system is added, which fixes the blade to avoid shaking noises when it is stored inside. The back side of the nylon sheath is M.O.L.L.E. compatible. The textile part is reduced to its minimum and has got the classic two-button safety strap with a belt loop and a thigh band with rubber reinforcement for anti-rotation. Extrema Ratio aims at this new line by minimizing thickness and size of the knife, but not saving on structural strength and safety accessories.
